1.0 - Planned features / Actual Features
Well were not sure when 1.0 will be release or when we will start coding but it's time to make a "1.0 - Planned features / Actual Features" List.

What we wanted to add in Version .30 but ran out of time(Or could not figure it out):
• URL Rewriting (Link)
• Upload files, no FFMPEG (Link)
• Populated Drop Down Section Box for Templates and Languages(MySql Driven PHP Driven, we got it some what working....)
• 5 New languages(You guys choose which ones you want, we have 9 so far....)
• Search Feature for Videos in the Admin Panel(Should be easy)
• IE Compatibility (full)
• More Video Sources
• Much Better 'lighter, web 2.0' Template

So, what do YOU the community want? Can you help use with any of the above? Just post below!

Hey Krissy,
I can start work on a Lighter Web 2.0 Template, but I just need an idea of what you want. Do you have any sites that you would like it to look like? Not copying of course.

I thought of a dark template for watching videos(Movie Theater like) but light works for almost any atmosphere and would be better for most people.

I agree we need 100% IE support. Most of my visitors use IE.

We also should implement a built in link trade script. Have it managed from admin panel would be nice. Some functionality like displaying the other sites hits they send you and the hits you send out to them

my thought only, I hate the dark templates  I loved the light template in version 2.5 and below. but that is just me..

Well.... I was very close to having a first draft of the Light Template, but.... My Windows 7 Laptop crashed on me and I lost all the css files. Still have the XHTML, Javascript, & and images.

Anyway you could implement a feature that will let you queue up videos. For example I add 12 videos to a queue and you can set a timer to post 1 video every hour. or 2 videos every hour. Is this possible or would you have to use a cronjob to make it work?

Well you could use AJAX if a page was kept open. Or PHP but a refresh would need done every so often.

Other than that, cron.

It would be a good feature to have. Keep fresh content on it at all times. queue up 24 videos and then you can walk away and not have to worry about updating it for a day. New content throughout the day keeps visitors returning.

you could display the randon page and have it refresh its self ever hour

IE 6 (Small Png Issue)

Display Issues:
There are still some IE7 issues.... But am close
IE 5.5, uhh, hmmm, A browser released in July 2000, 10 years old. Must it be supported?


Still needs some tweaking, please tell me your opinions(Especially Color Layout).
