Shouldn't the template/theme be based around 1.0 code? :S

Currently Version 1.0 is Version .30, we need to start implementing the new ideas.

winracer is sending me his upload script so I will add the script when I can.
Extra languages will come soon.
Adding more video sites, I will look into.

Version 1.0 - Pre Alpha(Public) is here!

New features:
• Upload files, no FFMPEG.
• Request registration to submit or upload files.
• Much Better 'lighter, web 2.0' Template

WARNING!
As the title suggest, it is still in "Pre Alpha" Meaning still under development.

Things to be noted:
The old dark default template is not longer the default template
This is not a full package download, only contains newly added files
Changes many files that could corrupt the old Version .30 file.

Current Demo:
http://www.firedartonline.com/projects/phpdirector/index.php

Long Term plans:
• URL Rewriting
• Populated Drop Down Section Box for Templates and Languages(MySql Driven PHP Driven, we got it some what working....)
• 5 New languages(You guys choose which ones you want, we have 9 so far....)
• Search Feature for Videos in the Admin Panel(Should be easy)
• More Video Sources

An option to approve the video would be nice.

File limit option would be good too.

Cleaned-up, and valid for FireFox, Safari, Google Chrome, Opera, etc.... IE not so much, still works, just not valid. ;D

In upload.tpl, If you need to be login to upload a file, I think you can replace
Code: [Select]
<tr>
<td height="21" align="center"><b>Name</b></td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td height="21" align="center"><textarea name="name" cols="50" rows="1" id="name" style="text-align:center; text-shadow:#990000"></textarea></td>
<td>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>

By

Code: [Select]
<input name="name" type="hidden" value="{$user}" />
because {$user} is the username stored in the cookies

You may have the same result with less line of code

just a thought with the new member area
now what about option to list you own upload / submits? and view all by user ..

It's not really hard to list video uploaded/submitted but I think we need to had a submitter field.

Imagine someone with "winracer" username have posted a video on youtube and someone submit this video.
This video will be listed i your submitted/uploaded video but you are not the author/submittor.
