Just wanted to let you know that i just followed the instructions for this template and have now lost all access to my site.....

Not sure what happened, i installed as directed and placed folders in roots directory, changed the templete name to phpdtube clicked edit and that was it, can't seem to get back in to view my site or into admin......

thankfully i had only uploaded 2 videos to date so will start all over again i guess.....

Just wanted to let u know before it happens to someone else..

Are you uploading the phpdtube folder into the root or into the template directory, because your supposed to upload it into the template folder.

No i installed to the ROOT as specified:

Quote
Installation
1) Upload all folders to the ROOT(or were your PHP Director is installed) to your server. DO NOT UPLOAD TO THE TEMPLATE
FOLDER!!!!
2) Go to the Admin Panel and go to the "Options" tab and edit the "Template" field by filling it with "phpdtube".

Your done, refresh the site and you should have your new PHPDTube Template installed!

To be honest i had just changed the names servers and this happened within 48hrs of doing this so it may just have been a coincidence that the site went down when i clicked the edit button but i think it unlikely, but my website did go down the following day due to server problems so the changing of nameserves may have been responsible, i can't be 100% sure if it was this or the template.

I'm sure if there is a problem others will post up, it would be nice to hear from those who have successfully updated to this template.....

***Update, the same thing just happened to me again when trying to add phpddaily template
